How can a governmental agency contribute to increased innovation

Abstract
Through the globalization the competition for capital and competence is increasing. 　As innovation is one of the key processes 　which enables an economy to utilize its knowledge capital into something that actively and concretely can generate growth and prosperity. Many countries around the world have therefore put up an innovation strategy addressing the opportunities and challenges they are facing.

Sweden is just now in the process of defining its innovation strategy, and the presentation will be about how VINNOVA plan to contribute and support the long term goals of this strategy.
