Welcome to Industrial Ergonomics!

The Division of Industrial Ergonomics (IAV) has about 15 employees, of which 4 are professors, 2 associate professors and 1 lecturer. In addition to the number of employees there are 2 "industry graduate students". The economic turnover is close to 12 MSEK, of which more than 50% comes from external funding. The researching personnel of IAV are organized in two main research groups. One of the groups has its focus on Work Organizations and Industrial Ergonomics, the MTO group, while the other group has a Human Factors Engineering perspective, the HFE group.

IAV is a division of the Department of Management and Engineering (IEI) which represent the Faculty of Arts and Sciences, the Faculty of Educational Sciences and the Institute of Technology.
The Department is a fusion of the former departments EKI, IKP, IPE and the division ISM at IDA. The new department has 400 employees and is effective since 1 January 2007.)
