The Scandinavian International Conference on Fluid Power, SICFP, is organized every second year, alternating between Linköping University and Tampere University of Technology in Finland, every second time the conference is national/international. The purpose of the conference is to gather fluid power specialists from universities as well as from industry from all over the world to present and discuss research, application trends and developments with in the broad field of fluid power systems and technology.
Center for Model-based Product Development, MODPROD, arranges a Workshop every year in February at Linköping University. The purpose of the workshop is to gather specialists in different disciplines to discuss model-based product development.
8th MODPROD Workshop on Model-Based Development, February 4-5, 2014 will be arranged at Linköping University.
Areas of interest; cyber-physical system modeling, integrated hardware-software modeling, hardware modeling, software modeling, multi-body systems, multi-domain/multi-physics, (e g electrical-hydraulic), Modelica-UML-SysML, Modeling and simulation tools, CAD modeling, design optimization and analysis, hardware in the loop simulation, real-time and embedded system modeling, electrical/Hydraulics modeling.
6th OpenModelica Annual Workshop, February 3, 2014 will also be arranged at Linköping University.
Areas of interest; applications of OpenModelica, Modelica Libraries with OpenModelica, OpenModelica tool developments, solver issues in Open Modelica, meta modeling and hardware/software modeling, code generation in OpenModelica, parallel compilation and execution.
CEAS 2013 aIR AND SPACE CONFERENCE
The CEAS (Council of European Aeronautical Societies) Air & Space Conference 2013 will take place in Linköping (Sweden), from 16 to 19 September 2013. To underline the importance of European development of technologies and capabilities, the central theme of the conference will be:
"The 13th Scandinavian International Conference on Fluid Power", SICFP'13,was arranged at Linköping University, Linköping, Sweden, June 3-5, 2013. The first three days there was presentations in parallel sessions focusing on various areas in the field of fluid power, transmissions and motion control relevant for both industry and academia. On Thursday June 6 we arranged a visit to "Elmia Wood" an international Forestry Fair in the woods outside Jönköping, (100 km south of Linköping).
Workshop on Innovative Engineering for Fluid Power and Vehicluar Systems
14-15 May 2012. The purpose of this workshop was to bring together Brazilian, Swedish and international industry and academia, interested in this field, to promote collaboration in development of technologies, education, innovation management, and methods and tools for system development and design. The workshop was organized by Universidade Federal de Santa Catarina , UFSC, Linköping University, LiU, UFABC, and CISB.
The national conference "Hydraulikdagarna 2012" was arranged at Linköping University, Linköping, Sweden, April 17-18 , 2012. Conference venue Building A, Campus Valla. Presentations in parallel sessions from industry and academia.
