About Environmental Technology And Management

We are an internationally known multidisiplinary research group established 30 years ago. We see solutions to environmental problems as strong drivers for development of products, services, technical systems and organisations. Our mission is to contribute to a resource efficient society making new environmental solutions come true. We do this by research, education and cooperation.

Our research focuses how environmental problems and environmental perspectives leads to changes in products, services, technical systems, and organizations and how these changes in turn have impact on the environment. This research is often done in close cooperation with companies and other organisations. Cooperation also includes bringing our results and experiences into practical use in development projects.

We offer a number of courses ranging from introductory courses in environmental technology to specialized courses in industrial ecology, environmentally driven product and business development and sustainable city development. More than 900 students attend our courses every year in popular engineering programs such as Design and Product development as well as Energy, Environment and Management. We also offer an international Masters’ program.
