Research at Environmental Technology and Management

Our reserach focuses how environmental problems and environmental perspectives leads to changes in products, services, organizations and technical systems, and how these changes in turn have impact on the environment.

We strive to generate environmentally and theoretcally based knowledge in the areas of environmental technology, environmental management and material and energy use in tehcnical systems. Thus, research is based on a systems perspective.

Particular emphasis is placed today on the areas of sustainable urban development, new environmental technology, and industrial ecology and symbiosis.
